The reincarnation of her mother, who died when Kathy was was but a year old, leaving me desolate, and my consolation after Marian died, Kathy was the sunshine of my life until her own early death leaving me two beautiful and talented granddaughters, whom she adored, as do I. Everyone who knew Kathy said she was their best friend.
Kathryn was an active member of the Baha'i community in Greensboro. She was employed for 19 years as a cost analyst with Burlington Industries. She was a graduate of Randolph-Macon Women's College and studied at the University of Reading in England.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Hays van Noppen, of the home; daughters, Marian Adele and Elizabeth Fenelon van Noppen, both of the home; parents, John Walter and Jane B. Davison, of Leesburg, Va.; sister, Lisa Camille Davison, of Baltimore, Md.; and two brothers, John Walter Davison, III, of Auburn, Ala., and Edward Bradfield Davison of Leesburg, Va. (findagrave.com)
