June Call Tidwell-Waylett, a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on November 16, 2010.She was born March 30, 1925 in Brigham City, Utah to Nellie Fredericksen and Daniel Leslie Call, the oldest of six children. While growing up, June enjoyed spending the summer months at her grandparent's (Petersen) farm in Tremonton, Utah where she played with her cousins. June married her first sweetheart, Farron, on February 9, 1943 in Salt Lake City. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on September 18, 1953. They enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Farron and June built three homes together, plus one darling playhouse for their daughters, Lesley and Denise. June did her best to provide her daughters with learning opportunities and music lessons. Her girls thank her for the many birthday parties she gave them and the many lunches she fixed while they played in their playhouse. She was a "girl's mother" and loved pretty things. June was a member of the LDS Church. She served for many years teaching and keeping excellent historical records for the ward Primary. She also worked for Granite School District's school lunch program and for Continental Baking Company (Wonder Bread). June married her second sweetheart, Ed Waylett, on March 5, 1990 in Orlando, Florida. They had over 16 happy years together. They enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii and Arizona, and dining at their favorite restaurants. June was very proud of her daughters, grandsons, and family. She is survived by her daughters, Lesley (Bob) Black, Salt Lake City; Denise (Doug) Wollschleger, Holladay; grandsons, Steven (Jessica) Wollschleger, Salt Lake City; Kevin Wollschleger, Holladay; Jeffrey Black, Salt Lake City; and David Black, Salt Lake City; stepson, Eddie Waylett, Mesa, Arizona; brothers: Dean Ellis, Mesa, Arizona; Con (Gwen) Ellis, Sandy; and sister, Janice Golding, West Jordan. June was preceded in death by husband, Farron L. Tidwell; husband, Edwin Waylett; parents; brother, Jay Call; and sister Phyllis Call Bredthauer Simpson. Funeral services honoring June will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn (2350 E. 1300 S., Salt Lake City, Utah). Friends and family may call Friday, November 19, 2010 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. and 12:45-1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral services at the same location. Entombment at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mausoleum.
