Bob Bichsel, age 60, of Leonard, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at 5:15 p.m. at his home in Leonard.

He was born on June 21, 1944, in Leonard, the son of Antone and Leola Clark Bichsel.

On September 24, 1966, he was united in marriage to Patricia Ross. She survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roger Pallardy and his wife, Christine, of Troy, and Kelly Bichsel and his friend, Tracy Hutton, of Bethel; two daughters, Coleen Hinkel and her husband, Jerome, of St. Charles, Cindy Bichsel and her friend, Phil Wiggs, of St. Charles; six grandchildren, Holli Colbert, Josh Pallardy and Sean Pallardy, all of Troy, Cassie Bichsel, Nichole Hinkle and Natalie Hinkle, all of St. Charles; two great-grandchildren, Jake and Drew Colbert; two sisters, Betty Long and her husband, Dale, of Warsaw, and Genelle Kiser and her husband, Ernie, of Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Bichsel was a 1962 graduate of Leonard High School and he was a Catholic by faith.

Visitation was Friday, May 13, 2005, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbyville. Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 14, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Chapel in Shelbyville by Father Michael Murphy with the Eulogy by Harold Beach.
