Beulah Grace (Doo-Doo) Compton of the Compton Mountain section of Pilgrim Knob, Virginia passed from this life at Heritage Hall in Grundy, Virginia and walked through the gates of heaven completely healed on Friday, June 28, 2013.
She was born at Pilgrim Knob, Virginia on February 6, 1947 to the late Carl William Compton and Gertie Christmas (Wimmer) Compton. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Beverly Compton.
She was a 1965 graduate of Whitewood High School. The legacy that Beulah left was that she was never impressed with the finer things in life, always being unselfish and paying close attention to others needs and always, always being God's servant; striving to be happy and loving others unconditionally.

Three great nephews, Leif Ratliff, Heath Ratliff, Jacob Miller and a great niece Alexis Grace to be born in late summer.
The funeral service for Beulah Grace (Doo-Doo) Compton will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia with the Minister's Barry Absher and Bobby Adkins officiating. A song service will be conducted by Regina Deel and The Horn Family. Those planning to attend the burial will meet at the funeral home on Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:00 am to go in procession to the Compton Family Cemetery on Warner Road in Pilgrim Knob where the burial will be at 11:00 am. Pallbearers are Michael Fuller, Marrison Short, Randy Vernon, Jimmy Compton, Duane Compton, Andy Short, Brian Ratliff, Jake Miller, Wayne Compton, Steve Miller and George McCall. Visitation will begin at 5:00pm on Sunday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Virginia.
