Robert Harvey White II
Mr. Robert Harvey White II, age 39 of Whitewood, Virginia, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2005 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born October 4, 1965 in Tazewell County, Virginia he was the son of Wanda Scott White of Whitewood, Virginia and the late Robert H. (Bob) White. He was a surface maintenance superintendent with Mountain View Resources. He was an avid motorcyclist.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tara Mullins White; one daughter, Carrie Aleshia White of the home; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Jim & Cora Mullins of Whitewood; several aunts, uncles & cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at Buchanan Funeral Service Chapel in Keen Mountain, Virginia with Mr. Randy Smith & Rev. Jimmy Cole officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Family Cemetery at Pilgrim Knob, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Gary Bowen, Ronald Finley, Alan Scrotsky, Freddie Tatum, Harold Cole, Walter Davis, Tommy Compton, Gene Anderson, Gregg Estep, Brett Blankenship & Junior Lester. Honorary pallbearers will be Ralph Horn, Randy Smith, Johnny Scott, Leonard Keene, Bill Scott & Ralph Cox.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Service in Keen Mountain, Virginia.
