Edith E. Ratliff, 83, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, went to be with the Lord Thursday, September 20, 2012. She was born January 11, 1929 in Elkhorn City, Kentucky, daughter of the late Marcus and Sillar Anderson Mullins. Edith was the widow of the late Luther Hurtle "Jimmie" Ratliff.
Edith was a devout Christian.
She is survived by her sons, Bruce (Lynn) Ratliff of Dayton, Wayne (Pat) Ratliff of Charlotte, North Carolina and Scott (Gwinn) Ratliff of Lancaster; grandchildren, David, Amber, Blaine, Cameron, Caden, Danny, Candy and Jackie; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a brother, Paris Mullins; sisters, Virginia Ratliff, Tootsie Clevenger and Tommel Myers and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service (findagrave.com)
