Will dated Oct. 28, 1589, proved 1591 at Exeter (Crediton/Exeter registries copied by Nicholas Dunscombe, July 1856). This will, if it still exists, has not been found. However the notes taken by Nicholas Dunscombe on his 1856 visit to Crediton and Exeter state the names of at least some of the people mentioned in Thomasine's will. These include her son Christopher and his wife Grace; Edward and John - two sons of Christopher and Grace; her son Walter and wife Elinor and their daughters Anne and Margaret; and her son Robert and his wife Mary (Maria) and their son Oliver. Nicholas in his notes states that Thomasine's surname was "Bodley" but he includes the word "quere" after her name. This may be a substitute for the word "query" indicating that Nicholas may have been presuming the Bodley connection while having no hard proof.
