Obituary of Rose Beringer (nee Sieber), 80, of Tonawanda, Friday, January 25, 1974 at Mount View Hospital, Lockport, after a long illness.
Born in Germany, she had been a resident of Tonawanda the greater part of her life and was the wife of Wendel Beringer, Sr., who died in 1956. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, the Altar Society and the Ladies of Charity.
She is survuved by four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Teresa) Tomaselli of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Daniel (Anne) Reisch, Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Nowak, and Miss Helen Beringer all of Tonawanda; eight sons, Wendel M. Jr.and W. Robert, both of North Tonawanda, Joseph F. and John H. of Kenmore, Anthony N., Nicholas P. and Charles J. of Tonawanda, and Frank G. Beringer of New Hampshire; two sisters, Mrs. William (Helen) Haas and Mrs. Elmer (Ann) Harmon; two brothers, John and George Sieber, all of Tonawanda; 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at theJohn O. Roth Funeral Home, Morgan and William Streets, Tonawanda, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, followed by a Mass of the Resurrection in St. Francis of Assisi Church at 11 a.m. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Ralph M. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery (Tonawanda News, January 26, 1974).
