But the marriage record for Johann David Schweikert and Christina Friedrike Schwerz shows a birth date for him of 10/15/1799. The other occurrances of the "Schwerz" or "Scherer" name and the location of the 1799 Johann David Schweikert in Freudenstadt, as oposed to the village of Backnang for the 1806 David, lead me to think the 1799 Johann David is the correct one. The marriage record also shows an 1825 date, whiich coincides with the fact that the 1822 birth record for Johann and Christina's daughter Catherine lists her as illegitimate.
