Mary Duda, 91, formerly of Reading, died July 13, 2007 in Devon House Assisted Living Residence, Allentown, where she lived since March. She was the widow of Paul Duda, who died May 18, 2000. Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Stella (Dwulit) Misura. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Reading. Mary was a founding member of the Ukrainian Club Womens Auxiliary, served as vice president and secretary for the Ukrainian American Social Club and served as a former officer for the Ladies Club of Nativity Church. She was employed by Berkshire Knitting Mills and Oritskis Factory in the 1930s. Later, she worked for various outlet stores on Moss Street and N. Ninth Street until her retirement in 1989. Survivors: Two sons, Peter and his wife, Monica, of Crystal River, Fla., Paul David and his wife, Michele, of Oley; three daughters, Elaine Marie and her husband, John Tressler, of Painesville, Ohio, Mary Ann, recent widow of Frank Gergits, of Allentown and Nancy, wife of Byron Hadjokas, of Emmaus; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings are Amelia Slaby, Douglassville; Mildred Loeper, Boyertown; Kasha Query, Pottstown; Hanya Cosmi, Medford, N.J.; Andrew Misura, North Port, Fla.; John Misura, Tacoma, Wash.; and Paul Misura, Haleiwa, Hawaii. She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Misura, and sister, Josephine Valgus. Services: Friends may call in the Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home Inc., 239 S. Ninth St., Reading on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy will follow in Nativity B.V.M. Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Nativity B.V.M. Church Cemetery, Cumru Township.
