In addition to his wife and children, Thomas' will mentions deceased brother Englesbe, sister Sarah Outerbridge, nieces Elizabeth Seon (daughter of late brother Englesbe), Ann Seon Outerbridge (daughter of sister Sarah Outerbridge). Dated 10/21/1816, probate 1/3/1822.
Deed for Thomas Seon of Hamilton Parish, dated 12/12/1786, from Stafford Amory of St. Kitts, but now resident in Bermuda, for 50 acres of land in Hamilton Parish to Seon, which land had belonged to Stafford Somersall, Sr., late of parish of St. Ann, Sandy Point, St. Kitts, and by his will dated 12/14/1758 (filed in St. Kitts, Book 4, p. 307), devised same to his children: Elizabeth Westcott, Ann Amory, Stafford Somersall, Mary Somersall, William Somersall, Martha Somersall, William Somersall, Richard Somersall, Anthony Somersall. Now whereas Ann Amory has died intestate, and her 8th share has descended to her only son Stafford Amory, he in turn has disposed of same to Thomas Seon(Deeds Book 1, p. 26).

Deed for Thomas Seon of Hamilton Parish, dated 5/4/1798, with reference to an act passed 7/9/1791, for raising public money, with taxes levied on real estate actions, making reference to land of F.L. Patton which was bought by Thomas Seon, dated 5/3/1992. Whole document represents the terms under which Seon sold the land to Algate (Deeds Book 4, p. 188).
Deed for Thomas Seon, merchant, Hamilton Parish, dated 11/9/1799, from William T. Smith, merchant, of Philadelphia (whose wife Mary was a daughter of Stafford Somersall), for 50 acres of land in Hamilton Parish to Seon (now in possession of Daniel Woolrich Outerbridge and Stephen Outerbridge), "of which said tract of land Stafford Somersall the elder, late of the parish of St. Ann, Sandy Point, St. Kitts, was in his lifetime, and at the time of his death, seized of an estate in fee simple, and being so seized, having first made his last will and testament, dated 12/14/1758, and thereby devised the same to and among his children: Elizabeth Westcott, Ann Amory, Stafford, Mary, Martha, William, Richard, Anthony as tenants in common. His will is registered in St. Kitts, in a book "marked with letter Y, page 307-8", of which land an 8th part had been devised to Mary Somersall, later married to William T. Smith, and since deceased (Deeds Book 4, p. 240).

Smith with Thomas Seon, as above (Smith wishing to sell the property he has become seizd of), Smith appoints Power of Attorney William Foot of St. George, to deal with his inherited property in Bermuda. Seon pays 175 pounds for said land (Deeds, Book 4, p. 242).
In occupation of 25 acres if land in Hamilton Parish, being the subject of deed of that date: Stephen Outerbridge, cabinet-maker, Hamilton Parish, and wife of Ann Barnes, indenture dated 1801, April 9, to William Thomas Outerbridge, mariner, Hamilton Parish, and Robert James Patton Zuill, shipwright, Hamilton Parish, for 5 shillings paid by Zuill and Outerbridge, for 25 acres in Hamilton Parish, abutting on Thomas Joell Burch, late Stafford Somersall (late of West Indies) (occupied now by Thomas Seon), Ann Greatbatch, and the sea and sound, for 1 year, 1 peppercorn. as above dated 1801, April 10, for 10 shillings, but said land to be for lifetime use of Ann Barnes Outerbridge (wife of Stephen) and any possible issue by Stephen, held in trust for her by William Thomas Outerbridge, and Robert James Patton Zuill, or failing issue, in trust for Stephen's siblings: William Thomas, Arthur, Perient, Susanna, and Mary Ann Zuill. Deed for Thomas Seon, mariner of Bermuda, dated 3/13/1803 for land in Bailey's Bay: Elizabeth Wescott, spinster, of St. Christopher, daughter and heir-in-law of late John Julius Westcott of St. Kitts and his wife Elizabeth (one of the daughters and 8 children of late Stafford Somersall, Sr., formerly of St. Kitts) plus Stafford Anthony Somersall and his wife Penelope of St. Kitts (Stafford Anthony being eldest son and heir of late Richard Somersall (who was also one of the 8 children of late Stafford Somersall), indenture dated 1803, March 13, to Thomas Seon, mariner, of Bermuda, for 5 shillings paid by Seon, twice, to Elizabeth, and to Stafford Anthony, for 2 eighth parts of tract of land in Bailey's Bay, Bermuda, which lately belonged to Elizabeth Somersall, wife of said late John Julius Westcott, which land had legally descended to said Elizabeth, plus another eighth part share of Stafford Anthony Somersall, which was the property of his late father, Richard Somersall, which had legally descended to him, said land being about 50 acres, and abutting on that of late Capt. Deed for Thomas Seon, of Hamilton Parish, dated January 17, 1804, for land in Bermuda: Joseph Gibson, merchant, Pembroke, administrator of estate of late Anthony Somersall, Jr. of St. Kitts (dated Nov. 12, 1802), indenture dated Jan. 17, 1804, to Thomas Seon of Hamilton Parish, whereas Somersall died "or is supposed to have died some years past, intestate", and later Joseph Gibson, to whom Somersall was indebted at time of his death, bearing in mind the act re estates holding insufficient funds to pay debts, and the provision allowed for selling of lands, houses etc. to satisfy such debts, (dower of a widow excepted) there are several large demands on Somersall's estate. Now discovery is made that Somersall had lands in Bermuda unknown to administrator Gibson. Court of Chancery at St. George's dated Feb. 1, 1803 empowers Gibson to sell or dispose of real estate of Somersall (finalized March 2, 1803) and result is that all Somersall's real estate in Bermuda is sold for 150 pounds to Thomas Seon (who has actually been in possession of same, having for some time past been a purchaser of a share or portion (one-eighth part) of said land as tenant-in-common). Somersall's land consists of 50 acres bounded north by the sea, east of late Daniel Outerbridge, south by Little Sound, west by late Wlliam Seon, paid and receipted (Deeds Book, 5, p. 314).

Whereof I make, ordain, authorize, constitute and appoint my dearly beloved wife, Ruth Burchall, executrix, and my friends Captain John Frith of Salt Kettle, Englsebe Seon and John William Foggo, both of Hamilton Parish, aforesaid, Executors.
Item: I will and direct that all my just debts, which I hope will prove few in numbers and in amount small, and also my funeral expenses be fully paid and discharged, out of my Estate by my aforesaid Executrix, and Executors as speedily as may be after my decease.
Item: I give and devise unto my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall the house and land which I purchased of Ann Outerbridge and her son Arthur Outerbridge, lying to the southward of present residence of Robert Hayes Esquire, also a piece or tract of land and all buildings thereon, I lately purchased of the heirs or representatives of John Burgess Hill, now deceased, containing about nine acres and adjoining the piece or parcel of land whereon I now reside: to have and to hold the said house and land and the said other tract or parcel of land and all buildings thereon, so respectively purchased as aforesaid, unto my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall, her heirs and assigns, to the only proper use and behoof of the said Ruth Burchall her heirs and assigns forever.
Item: I also give and devise unto my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall the rest and residue of all other my houses, lands, and real estates for and during the term of her natural life only, with liberty to cut or fell or cause to be cut or felled, used, sold, disposed of as she may think proper, during her natural life only, any timber or trees growing or standing on such real estates so devised to her during her life and the proceeds of such timber or trees to convert and appropriate as she may think fit.
Item: I also give and bequeath absolutely to my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall all my plate and pieces of plate, plate ware, china, glass, and crockery ware, beds, bed and table linen and household furniture, kitchen furniture and domestic utensils of every description, (the one pair of square or dinner tables of cedar hereinafter bequeathed to Cornelius Seon after her death excepted) and to her Executors, administrators and assigns forever.
Item: I give and bequeath to my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall all and every of my Negroes and Slaves and their respective earnings for and during her natural life, with liberty to emancipate, enfranchise and set free all my or either of the said Negroes and Slaves during such her life as she may see fit: at all events I will and direct that at her death all and every of the said Negroes and Slaves and the future issues of those who are females, shall be emanicipated, enfranchised, and set free to intents and purposes.

Item: In case the aforesaid Ruth Seon Outerbridge, who was brought up in my Family, should survive me and also my said dearly beloved wife, and shall at such survivorship be without a husband, I then give and devise unto her the said Ruth Seon Outerbridge my present mansion or dwelling house situate in Hamilton Parish aforesaid and that portion of land whereunto belonging- that is to say; the said mansion or dwelling house and so much of the land as lies to the westward of the public or general highway and bounds southerly on the aforesaid lands I so as aforesaid, purchased of the heirs or representatives of the said John Burgess Hill, westerly on the sea, northerly on lands now in the occupation of Isaac Davis, and easterly on the aforesaid public or general highway, for and during such time only as the said Ruth Seon Outerbridge remains single or unmarried;- but if the said Ruth Seon Outerbridge should not be living at the death of my said wife and myself, or the survivor of us, or if she should be so living and have a husband, or if she should survive my said wife and myself and afterwards marry, or if she should, after so surviving my said wife and myself, die single or unmarried, I , at the happening of any or either of those events, give and devise the said mansion house and tract of land so described as aforesaid, unto the aforesaid John William Foggo, his heirs and assigns forever;- excepting however as well applying to the said Ruth Seon Outerbridge as to the said John William Foggo, so much of the said premises in the clause described as I have reserved in favour of my said wife and of Stephen Outerbridge aforesaid as relates to a certain pond, inlet or basin of water within such premises and a road or way to and from the same as is hereinafter expressed.
Item; At the death of my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall, I give and devise unto the said Stephen Outerbridge, who is the son of my sister Martha Outerbridge, my house and so much of the land thereto appertaining or adjoining as is enclosed, formerly belonging to Briggs Smith and Leonard Outerbridge, now deceased, or one of them as lies to the eastward of the aforesaid public or general highway, to have and to hold the said house and land so as aforesaid formerly belonging to the said Briggs Smith and Leonard Outerbridge or one of them, unto the said Stephen Outerbridge his heirs and assigns forever.
Item; At the death of my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall, I give and devise unto the aforesaid Elizabeth Burchall and Sarah Burchall, daughters aforesaid of my said deceased brother Dennis Burchall, my house and land formerly belonging to my deceased father, equally to be divided between them the said Elizabeth Burchall and Sarah Burchall and to their heirs and assigns forever as tenants in common.
Item; At the death of my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall, I give and devise unto the aforesaid Ann Hill (widow of William Hill) my lot of land in Hamilton Parish aforesaid adjoining easterly on lands of the said Stephen Outerbridge and containing three acres or thereabouts, to have and to hold the same to the said Ann Hill her heirs and assigns forever.
Item; At the death of my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall, I give and devise unto the said John William Foggo, his heirs and assigns forever, my lot of land in the Town of Saint George in the said Islands, with all the buildings thereon, now or lately in the occupation of Nathaniel Bascome, esquire, bounding northerly on a lot now or formerly belonging to Mrs Mary Weston and now lately occupied by the said Nathaniel Bascome, and westerly on a street or alley.
Item; At the death of my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall, I give and devise unto the aforesaid Ruth Seon Outerbridge and to her heirs and assigns forever, my house and tract of land in Hamilton Parish aforesaid, containing twelve acres, more or less, formerly belonging to William Outerbridge, now deceased, which said lands bound westerly on lands of Robert Hayes aforesaid, or his wife, northerly on the sea, easterly on lands of or formerly belonging to Michael Burrows now deceased, and southerly on lands belonging wholly or in part to the heirs or representatives of John Paynter esquire deceased.
Item; By reason that the before mentioned tracts or parcels of land which I, as aforesaid, purchased of the heirs or representatives of John Burgess Hill and also the house and land I so as aforesaid, purchased of the said Briggs Smith and Leonard Outerbridge, or one of them, the former of which I have herein devised to my said wife in fee simple and the latter to the aforesaid Stephen Outerbridge, also in fee4 simple, are near the pond, inlet, or basin of water which is within the lands whereon my mansion or dwelling house stands, I am desirous that my said wife as also Stephen Outerbridge should participate in the convenience and advantages of such pond, inlet, or basin of water:- O do therefore give and devise unto my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall and Stephen Outerbridge, a slip or so much of the aforesaid land appertaining to my aforesaid mansion or dwelling house as will be sufficient for a private road or way of twenty feet in width from the public road or general highway to be as nearly opposite to the said house so devised to the said Stephen Outerbridge as may be, so as to admit of a free communication between such public road or general highway and the said pond, inlet or basin and of the shores or banks thereof as will admit of the erection or building of two fish ponds of twenty four feet in length and sixteen feet in breadth each, as also so much of the said pond, inlet or basin as will be sufficient to contain, and afford security to, boats or small crafts not exceeding six in number at any one time- to have and to hold all that is by this clause given, and devised or meant or intended so to be, to my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall and the said Stephen Outerbridge respectively and to their respective heirs and assigns forever as tenants in common and not as joint tenants.
Item; Whereas on some of the tracts, pieces, or parcels of land herein before devised there are several huts, cottages, cabins or other small buildings erected wherein several families of my slaves or Negroes reside, and whereas it is not only possible but probable that I might erect or cause to be erected other cottages, huts, cabins or small buildings on all or some of the said several tracts, pieces, parcles of land or real estate for the further accomodation and comfort of my said Negroes and slaves, it is therefore my decided meaning and express desire that such of my said Negroes or slaves may so reside either at my death or at the death of my said wife, in all, any or either of such cottages, huts, cabins, or other buildings, or to whom I might verbally or to otherwise give leave hereafter to reside in all or any of the same, shall not be disturbed or molested in the enjoyment, possession or possessions of such cattages, huts, cabins, or other buildings, but on the contrary they shall be suffered and permitted to remain in peaceable and quiet enjoyment and possession hereof so long as they or the survivor or survivors of them my said Negroes or slaves who may be in existence at the respective deaths of my said wife and myself or the survivor of us shall live without any rent, service, or acknowledgement whatever being paid demanded or required hterefore.
Item: The pair of cedar square tables, herein before executed or mentioned which usually stand in my parlour, I bequeath the use of to my said dearly beloved wife Ruth Burchall during her life, and at her death, or as much sooner as she may see fit to relinquish the use thereof, I give and bequeath the same to the aforesaid Cornelius Seon.
Item; I give and bequeath my sail boat with all her sails, tackle, apparel and furniture unto my aforesaid executor John Frith."
