Robert John Pahl, 50, of Napoleon, Ohio died peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2015. He was born on September 29, 1965 in Napoleon to the late John Pahl and Carolyn Gerken Pahl who survives in Holgate.
On June 21,2007 he married Patricia Franz in Napoleon, Ohio.
Bob was an avid farmer. He loved the beauty of the land and the harvest. He also worked at Advantage Powder Coating in Defiance. He attended the Poplar Ridge Church of the Brethren and formerly attended St. Stephen's Lutheran Church as a child and young man where he was baptized. He was a man of great faith who loved spending time with his sons, his faith and his dogs.
Bob was a Past Master Omega #564 Masonic Lodge, Past High Priest Ensawocsa Chapter #89 Royal Arch Masons, Past Illustrious Master Oc-Co-Nox-Ee Council #55 Royal and Select Masons, Past Commander Defiance Commandery #30 Knights Templar, member Ohio Priory #18 Knights of the York Cross of Honor, and a member of the Zenobia Shrine.
Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia, sons, Ryan Pahl of Napoleon, Ethan Pahl, Justin Pahl, both of Defiance, and Tony Pahl of Napoleon, mother Carolyn Pahl, brothers, James (Deanna) Pahl, and Jeffrey (Brenda) Pahl all of Holgate. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Kenneth.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, at the Poplar Ridge Church of the Brethren, 06970 Domersville Road in Defiance.
Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday October 15, at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and one hour prior to service at the church. A Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m.Interment will follow at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Defiance.
