Joseph Trrefenko, 80, formerly of 631 Willow St. died Wednesday at 6:20 a.m. in Beverly Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Exeter Township, whee he had resided eight years.
His wife, Julia A. (Major) Terefenko died October 19, 1988.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Paul & Catherine (Misura) Terefenko.
Terefenko was employed 20 years by the Postal Service, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Terefenko was an army veteran of World War II.
Surviving is a son, Thomas P., in New York City.
Other survivors include three sisters: Mary, widow of LeRoy Klein, and Anna, widow of Harold Riegle, both of Shillington; and Pauline, wife of James Arnidis, Exeter Township.
Funeral services will be Saturday, at 9:30 a.m. in the Gallman Funderal home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church. Burial will be in Gathsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
