Frank Lloyd Wright First Wife Dies
SANTA MONICA UPI--Mrs. Catherine Tobin Wright, 87, the first of architect Frank Lloyd Wright's three wives, died Tuesday.
She and Wright were married in 1890 and were divorced in 1923. She had been in a sanitarium since she was injured in a fall 10 years ago.
Mrs. Wright was once active in the work of Chicago's Hull House with social worker Jane Addams. She also was active in the Juvenile Protective Assn. in Chicago.

Mrs. Wright was named after her grandmother, Catherine Lee Clark Tobin. The "Lee" may have come from Mrs. Wright's great-great grandfather, Thomas Lee.
