?Wedding at Home of Mr. and Mrs. George C. How, Haverhill.
Haverhill, Apr 27-This morning, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. George C. How, 82 Main St., Miss Elizabeth W. Seeley and Mr. John H. Tilton were married by Rev. James. S. Williamson of North Congregational church. The ceremony was only witnessed by only near relatives.
The bride is the daughter of the late Rev and Mrs. Raymond H. Seeley. She is a native of this city, but since the death of her parents has lived most of the time abroad. She was given away by her cousin, Richard W. Parker. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Tilton of this city. Both bride and groom have a wide circle of friends.
The couple left on the noon train for a short wedding journey. They will reside in the Bradford district.
Those present at the marriage were Mr. and Mrs. George C. How, Mrs. Jeanette Seeley Hale of New York, Hon Richard Wayne Parker of Newark, NJ; Miss Carolina T. How, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tilton, Mr. C. Lowell Tilton, Mrs. Eliza A. Tilton, Mrs. Woodman, Rev and Mrs. James W. Williamson, and Mrs. Henry Parkman of Boston.

Mrs. John H. Tilton
Haverhill, Nov. 29-Mrs. John Hancock Tilton (Elizabeth Seeley) died at her home, 35 Summer St., early this morning after a long illness. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of Raymond H. Seeley, D. D., first minister of the American Chapel in Paris and later pastor of the North Church in this city, and of Mrs. Frances Stites Seeley.
She was a direct descendant of William Brewster, who came over in the Mayflower, and of Robert Seeley, one of the founders of Watertown. Much of her early life was spent in Europe, but she had lived in Haverhill since her marriage.
She leaves her husband, John Hancock Tilton of Haverhill; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Hillyer, and a grandson, Stanley Hillyer, both of Pinckney St., Boston.
