BAHLMAN, William Thorne, Jr. beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He was born in Cincinnati on January 9, 1920. He leaves his wife Nancy DeCamp Bahlman, sons Charles R. (Deborah), Wm. Ward (Sarah) and Baker D. (Chase) and five grandchildren: Caroline, Will, Paddack, Edith and Leah; a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He began his education at Mrs. Lotspeich's schools, Walnut Hills High School, The Taft School in Watertown, CT, Yale University and Yale Law School. He began his career at Paxton and Seasongood which later merged with Thompson Hine. In 1967 he left full time practice to become a professor at the University of Cincinnati Law School. In 1976 he then returned to full time practice, where he remained until his later years. He served on many committees and boards of organizations that helped make the city a better place to live. He was a member of The Cincinnati Country Club, the University Club of Cincinnati, Boca Grande Club in Boca Grande, FL, and the Romeos. He will be greatly missed by his friends, former students, and especially his family. Many described Bill as being "a good citizen and a true gentleman".
