G. R. Mosle, Former Ross Clerk Dies

Funeral for George R. Mosle of Woodside, former town clerk and assessor of Ross, will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow at the Church of Epiphany in San Carlos.

Mosle died in a Redwood City hospital Tuesday after a short illness. He was 71.

He was a native of New York. During the 30 years he lived in Marin, he served the town of Ross as clerk and assessor. He and his wife, Alison, moved to Woodside 10 years ago.

He was a retired employee of Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Co. and a member of San Rafael, Lodge 191, Free and Accepted Masons.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a son, George Mosle of San Carlos; two sisters, Elizabeth Mosle and Mrs. Richard Lyon of Santa Barbara; a brother, Harold K. Mosle of Redwood City, and three grandchildren.

Burial will be in Mount Tamalpais Cemetery, San Rafael.
