John C.E. Taylor, Jr., 62, of East Windsor, died Sunday, (July 2, 2000). Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late John C.E. Taylor and the late Eleanor (Beckwith) Taylor of West Hartford. He attended Westminster School in Simsbury and Suffield Academy, and later served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960-1963. At the time of his retirement he was employed by Consolidated Freightways. He was a lifelong member of the Hampstead Hill Club. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Lisa Taylor of Enfield; his brother and sister-in-law, Oliver [Beckwith] and Patricia Taylor of Princeton, NJ; a sister, Eleanor [VanDyke]Taylor of West Hartford; two aunts, Mrs. John C. Dewey, III of Chestnut Hill, MA and Mrs. W. Thurston Rowley of Bloomfield; a granddaughter, two nieces and several cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Charles E. Taylor in 1997. Funeral services are TODAY, July 6, at 11 a.m., in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Section 10), Hartford. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John C.E. Taylor Prize Fund, c/o Trinity College Development Office, 300 Summit St., Hartford, CT 06106. The James T.
