Leo F. Gaquin of Dorchester and Quincy passed away suddenly April 25. Leo was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was the proprietor of O.M. May in Dorchester for over 50 years and the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain for many years. He was also the proprietor of several other businesses during his lifetime. Leo was the longtime companion of Dorothy Dotty Hill; beloved father of Jennifer Trendel of Walpole; cherished grandfather of Julia and Olivia Trendel; stepfather of Joseph, Francis, Richard Hill, Jacqueline Hunt, Patricia Miszkin and Elizabeth Casey; uncle of John, Robert, Peter Morris, Kathy Stedman, Patricia, Jody, Paul, Mary Gaquin and the late Mary Lou Morris; cherished brother of the late Mary Morris, Thomas, John and Joseph Gaquin. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian burial Monday, April 30, at 11 a.m. in St. Peters Church, Dorchester. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 p.m. in the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock St., Quincy. Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
