Marjorie H. Clark, 95, of Stevens Ave. died Dec. 1, 2000, at a local hospital after a brief illness. Born in South Berwick, a daughter of John and Bessie Ridley Hodgdon, she attended Berwick Academy and graduated from Portland High School in 1923. She was a member of State Street Congregational Church, and was a charter member of the Forest City Ladies Club, the Westbrook Women's Club and the Women's Literary Union. Her husband, M. Stuart Clark, died in 1983. Surviving are a niece, Judith Hall of Branford, Conn., and a nephew, David Libbey of Fairbanks, Alaska. There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Jones & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., with the Rev. James Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.
