From Biographical Review of Clinton Co., NY: "Mary J., the 2nd daughter, married Judge William F. Stearns of Oxford, MS. Their home is now in California." (This is inaccurate, as Stearns, though a lawyer, was never a judge, & he died long before Mary Jane went to California).
Mary Jane was an artist & also a teacher.
