St. John's Times (Newfoundland, Canada) gives her death date as 3/17/1851, Bermuda Royal Gazette gives date 3/17, Dunscombe family Bible 3/16. She is buried at Johannis Kirchof Grab, Nurnberg, Germany (Dunscombe family Bible).

Resurgam is Latin for "I shall rise again." The phoenix emblem on the plaque is identical to a seal in possession of Ed Dunscombe, 2009.
