Her father John's will mentions Sarah Bulkeley alias Welles. In a 1742 document she is referred to as both Sarah Trumble and Sarah Wells.
Sarah was the daughter of Rev John Bulkeley and Patience Prentice.
She married first, Joseph Trumble/Trumbull Jr. (1705-1731) in Lebanon, Connecticut, 20 Nov 1727. They had 2 children, Sarah Trumble Johnson Watrous and Catherine Trumble Burnham.
She married second, John Welles, in Colchester, Connecticut, 29 Jun 1738.
Inscription
The tomb of Gershom Bulkeley (1708 - 1788) and his descendents was rediscovered in May of 2002. Restoration was completed in 2003 and the remains of the Bulkeley family members were then reinterred.

Gravesite Details
Although the inscription says that all family members in the tomb are descendents of Gershom Bulkeley (1708-1788), Sarah was his sister. Also, I have entered the name as Wells since all the other Wells family is entered this way in this cemetery.
