Heavenly Father gently received Auroroa Brown Eagar into His arms and the waiting arms of all of her deceased family who were joyously awaiting the reunion June 10, 2011.

Auroroa was born March 2, 1922, and was the true matriarch of her large family and guided them with her loving hand.

Auroroa was the sweetheart and beloved wife of Robert Levi Eagar (dec.) of Eagar. Together they served a very successful Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in North Carolina. She also served in many callings in the Church, on occasion two and three at a time. She was very loved by all who met her and made everyone know of their importance and acceptance no matter their stature in life.

Auroroa leaves his son, Stephen Robert Eagar and (Eileen) of Tucson; daughter Lorraine Hope Nelson (Walter) of Casa Grande, and her son Ronald Wayne Eagar (Tracy Mendez) of Westport, Conn. Also missing Auroroa are her 23 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Auroroa was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Spears.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 20, at the Eagar Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the Eagar Cemetery.

Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
