Isabel de Chauncy, daughter and sole heir of Philip de Chauncy, lord of the manor of Willoughton in County Lincolnshire, married Thomas de Chauncy, lord of the manor of Skirpenbeck in East Riding, Yorkshire, and through her inheritance Thomas de Chauncy gained possession of a large portion of the Willoughton estate. Though no marker remains, she likely died and was buried in the churchyard of St. Mary parish in Skirpenbeck.
