Rhonda Humphreys, 57, of rural Albion, died Tuesday, February 14, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.
Funeral services for Rhonda will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, February 18, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow services at the Marietta Cemetery.
Rhonda was born March 14, 1954, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Cletus and Mary Ann Stalzer Oetker. She was raised and educated in Marshalltown, attending the Marshalltown Catholic Schools and graduating from the Marshalltown High School. Rhonda was married to Warren Humphreys on November 21, 1997. They made their home in rural Albion for the past fourteen years of their married lives together. Rhonda was currently employed as a business office manager at Valley View Nursing and Rehab in Eldora. Rhonda enjoyed watching NASCAR, needlepoint and cross-stitching, shooting handguns, trapshooting and was an avid XBOX "Rock Band" player.
Rhonda is survived by her husband Warren of rural Albion, her children: Valerie Turnbull of Marshalltown, Curt Bryant of State Center, and Aaron (Terra) Humphreys of Florence, Colorado, her mother Mary Ann Oetker of Marshalltown, siblings Gary (Vickie) Oetker of Texas, Linda (Pat) Peakin of Colo,IA, Laura (Rick) Bradley of Illinois and Jane (Mike) Hulsizer of Haverhill,IA, and her beloved grandchildren, Kirsten, Lexi, Brianna and Brittney.
