Sophia was the daughter of Jacob and Sophia Richtmeyer and married Matthias Hubbell in 1817.
They had 2 children, Sally M. and Jacob R., before her death in 1821 at only 20 years of age.
Her remains were removed from the old Gilboa Village Cemetery by her grandson, C.B. Hubbell, in 1920 and reinterred in Jefferson, when the village and cemetery were razed to create the Schoharie Reservoir (findagrave.com)
