William Brewster was born on January 24, 1535 at Scrooby, Bassetlaw District, Nottinghamshire, England.1,2 He married Mary Prudence Smythe, daughter of William Smythe, circa 1560.3 William Brewster died on August 10, 1590 at Scrooby, Bassetlaw District, Nottinghamshire, England, at age 55.1,2 He was buried at St. Wilfred Churchyard, Scrooby, Bassetlaw District, Nottinghamshire, England.2
